BRB !

I want to post my latest paintings. I really do.

In case you didn't know...I'm a public school teacher. And it's three days before Christmas Vacation...

(Yes, an art teacher. I have 150 clay ornaments glaze-firing in a school kiln as I type this.)

(Any Prayer Warriors out there wanna take a moment for me? ...Thank you...)
Christians have memorialized Good Friday before Easter Sunday; perhaps school teachers could celebrate the last day of school before Christmas as "Merciful Friday"...or "Blessed Friday"...because God carried us through until the end...

On Friday, December 18th at 3:40pm EST, if you hear screaming whoops of celebration coming from the east coast, that'll be me.

'nuff said.

I lift my hat off to you and take my socks off too (English phrases for admiration!!) for all the hard work an art teacher must perform above and beyond the call of duty at this time of the year. Have a great well deserved break and - possibly - a chance to post a painting or two. Longing to see more of your artwork after the LET THERE BE LIGHT.

You are my hero! Yes, you should have your day... lots of days! Just remember, you are a hero to many.. or will be when they're older. :)
Have a Merry Little Christmas!

You can do it, you can DO it! Much like PJ said, you are creating long-term memories for the young ones. I know I remember and adore my art teachers who gave me the building blocks of an artful career. You are definitely "paying it forward!"

Ladies, you are all so awesome to throw me some encouragement just when I need it most!

Joan, I'm thrilled to have found your blog; such beautiful work is displayed there. I'll share more of my journey asap.

PJ, I just love your spirit! Thanks for stopping by...You're such a passionate person, and you create so much beauty for everyone to enjoy. I love your inspiring work and need to catch up on your activities.

Wendy, Thanks for the encouragement, girlfriend. I need to check on your latest digital painting and see if that 'precious' child is finished yet. :-)

I heard a whoop of joy and release to the south. I knew it was you so I whooped back. The same way wolves howl at their sisters from across the land.
SOooo...about your latest creations?
Well...it has just been one day. I can wait until you catch your breath :-)
